Daniel is experienced in advising on a broad range of employment law issues including corporate transactions, TUPE, executive service agreements, restrictive covenants, corporate governance, board room disputes, high-value employment tribunal claims and international HR projects.
Over his career, he has advised some of the world’s best-known companies on a range of complex, sensitive and high-profile matters. Daniel leads the firm's transactional practice and provides support to a number of US law firms on transactional matters. He predominantly advises employers and, whilst he advises clients in a broad range of sectors, he has particular experience advising technology and financial services clients.
Daniel has been recognised as a leading lawyer in the Legal 500 (2023) guide as co-head of the corporate support group. The guide states: 'Dan Pollard is particularly impressive on the transactional employment side. He is a great project manager with an impressive grasp of international employment issues and can get the key points quickly.'
Daniel is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, was elected to the Management Committee in May 2016 and to the role as Treasurer in 2018. He currently serves as ELA’s Secretary.
Daniel trained at ‘Magic Circle’ firm Clifford Chance and joined GQ|Littler from Macfarlanes in 2015. He has over 10 years’ experience; including 5 years in the London office of Gibson Dunn.
