Lisa works across all areas of employment law including advisory, litigation and transactional support. Since joining GQ|Littler she has been particularly involved in defending tribunal claims, appealing tribunal judgments to the Employment Appeal Tribunal as well as assisting with High Court proceedings for breach of contract.
Lisa has been recommended as a key lawyer in the Legal 500 (2021) for helping clients understand and navigate the nuances of regulations such as TUPE which made it possible for them to operate and secure new business. Clients have been particularly impressed with her capacity for hard work and helpfulnes.
Lisa is experienced in carrying out employment contract and handbook audits, coordinating the roll out of global contracts and advising on the enforceability of restrictive covenants. She regularly advises on difficult employee grievances, disciplinaries and sickness absences and provides support on TUPE and redundancy processes. Additionally, Lisa often delivers training to clients on key areas of employment law in which they are interested.
Lisa is also particularly specialised in advising on data protection issues. She has experience in managing and responding to data subject access requests and in assisting employers to comply with their data protection obligations.
Lisa joined GQ|Littler in March 2017 as an associate, following the completion of her training contract at 'Magic Circle' firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP.
