Raoul is "extremely helpful, responsive, concise and breaks down what is required and how to manage issues." (Chambers and Partners 2021)

Raoul co-leads GQ|Littler’s international practice development team, alongside Richard Harvey. He works across all areas of employment law, including advisory, litigation and transactional support. He has a particular focus on assisting international clients with their UK and EMEA employment law challenges.

Raoul has significant experience of employment tribunal litigation, as well as High Court employee competition matters. He is also experienced in day-to-day HR support, including dealing with employee grievances and consultation processes, terminations and drafting contracts and policies. Raoul acts for several “professional employer organisations” (or PEOs), advising them on their UK and international employment compliance strategy and other issues.

Raoul is recognised as an 'up and coming' practitioner in Chambers and Partners (2021). Clients say that "he provides a comprehensive service; he's quick to respond and provides specific advice." In the Legal 500 (2021) guide clients praise Raoul for helping them understand and navigate the nuances of regulations such as TUPE which made it possible for them to operate and secure new business. They add "Raoul and his team are experts in this area, and they took the time to understand our business’ risk profile and incorporate that into their advice. Above all, Raoul and his team are extremely responsive in responding to inquiries, making them a valued partner in the UK."

Prior to joining GQ|Littler in June 2015, Raoul worked in Baker McKenzie’s London employment team, where he co-ordinated employment advice for international clients across EMEA and globally, as well as advising on UK matters. During this time, he also completed secondments to the in-house employment law teams at Lloyds Banking Group and Standard Chartered Bank.
