Immigration Pricing

Although our work is primarily for businesses, on the rare occasions that we might act for individuals in the context of an immigration matter, the Solicitors Regulation Authority Transparency Rules require us to make available certain costs information related to the preparation and submission of some of the applications we make for individual clients.

We set out here the relevant average ranges for our fixed fees, disbursements and details of the services included within these fees and average likely timescales for each key stage of the matter. Our clients are provided with a fixed fee (or estimate of costs where we are less able to be indicative) once we have undertaken an initial assessment during our client engagement process.

Hourly Rates

Our standard approach is to charge for our services based on the time we spend working on the case.

If we are not charging a fixed fee, but are charging for our services based on the time we spend working on the matter our current hourly rates are:

*VAT at 20% will be added to our fee where we provide a service to you in the UK. VAT will not be applied to Government filing fees although it will be applied to some disbursements including the following:

  • some Royal Mail special delivery fees
  • courier fees
  • agent fees where we instruct to attend a Home Office or Passport Office appointment
  • translation fees
  • expert Counsel’s fees where applicable,
  • other experts fees such as an independent social worker or medical report.

Qualifications and experience of our fee earners carrying out the work on these matters can be found here. All matters are supervised by a Partner and involve work by a Partner or a Senior Associate and a Paralegal. Our fixed fee will be impacted by the complexity of a matter and also the seniority of the fee earner involved in the matter. If client preference determines work is to be completed by fee earner at a higher level than we deem appropriate or necessary, this will impact our fee.
