Press Release - 2 May 2018
We are pleased to announce that Hannah Mahon was made a Partner at the beginning of May.
Hannah Mahon specialises in all areas of employment law, with a particular focus on complex and strategically challenging employment tribunal litigation, most recently advising on high value discrimination and whistleblowing matters.
Hannah joined GQ|Littler in 2011 after working in-house at Barclays Bank plc and at City firm SJ Berwin.
Hannah is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and is a long-standing member of ELA’s Training Committee.
Founding Partner Jon Gilligan comments: “Hannah joined GQ when the firm was only a year old and she has made an extremely important contribution to our development and growth over the last seven years. She thoroughly deserves this promotion.”
Hannah Mahon, Partner, says: “I’m excited to start the next stage of my career and want to build on the exciting and challenging work I have already done for the firm over the past seven years.”
“I look forward to continuing to advise employers on a wide range of issues, including gender pay within the workplace, and continuing to develop my expertise in high value employment litigation.”
GQ|Littler recently won the Boutique Law Firm of the Year 2018 award at the Legal Business Awards, in recognition of the firm’s success against fierce competition in the employment law sector.
The award also reflects the firm’s exceptional year in which it increased revenue by 59% and became part of Littler, the world’s largest employment law firm with over 1,500 lawyers in 80 offices worldwide, offering a single source solution to international businesses. The firm has recently rebranded to GQ|Littler from GQ Employment Law to reflect the importance of this relationship.
Jon Gilligan continues: “Not only has the firm cemented its position as a leading force in employment law, it has shown that it can punch well above its weight when competing against larger firms.”
GQ|Littler is the leading specialist law firm for employers in the UK. Based in the City of London, the firm is part of Littler, the world’s largest employment law firm with over 1,500 lawyers in 80 offices worldwide, offering a single source solution to international businesses.
