Our client had to make a sensitive dismissal of a senior executive as part of a reorganisation to bring greater succession potential onto the board.

We worked with our client ahead of the dismissal on the legal risks, the communication process and an appropriate exit package. We also had to assist in the internal Remuneration Committee approval process for the package. This pre-planning resulted in the dismissal being achieved smoothly and the package and settlement being negotiated within 24 hours.
