Commerzbank, which bought took over the bankers’ employer Dresdner Kleinwort in 2008, will have to pay out €51.8m (£42m) after the Mr Justice Owen found in favour of the men.
The current and former Dresdner bankers had claimed Commerzbank reneged on a deal to pay out bonuses Dresdner had promised them before the takeover. The size of the payouts will range from €15,608 to as much as €1.78m.
