GQ|Littler appoints new Partner and new Senior Counsel

GQ|Littler, the specialist employment law firm, has announced that Raoul Parekh has been made Partner and Caroline Baker has been promoted to Senior Counsel. The promotions took effect at the beginning of September.

Raoul Parekh works across all areas of employment law, including advisory, litigation and transactional support and has significant experience of international HR projects, Employment Tribunal litigation, as well as High Court employee competition matters. He is also experienced in day-to-day HR support, including dealing with employee grievances and consultation processes, terminations and business restructures.  He joined GQ|Littler in 2015 from Baker McKenzie.

Caroline Baker joined GQ|Littler in 2011 from Slaughter & May and advises a wide range of clients on all aspects of employment law, from board level exits and complicated restructures to managing employment tribunal litigation. She has particular experience of advising financial services sector employers and dealing with associated remuneration structures and regulatory issues. Caroline is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and its Pro Bono Committee. She was part of a small team from the ELA Pro Bono Committee which developed the award winning ELIPS scheme at the London Central Employment Tribunal to support litigants in person.
