In today’s shortlist for the British Legal Awards, GQ is nominated as a finalist for the Law Firm Innovation Award.
Organised by ‘Legal Week’, the awards will be judged by an independent panel of judges made up of senior in-house lawyers, former managing and senior partners and other senior business figures.
GQ’s entry focuses on the founders’ vision of creating a new kind of law firm: a “magic circle boutique” firm combining a team of top quality lawyers delivering highly commercial, in-house style advice to City businesses and providing a genuine work-life balance for employees.
Commenting on the awards, partner Paul Quain says: “Being shortlisted for this award reinforces what our clients tell us – that there is a need for creative and innovative approaches to delivering legal services. And we’re delighted to be recognised in this way, particularly after being shortlisted for another award earlier this year and our recent listing for the first time in the Legal 500.”
